New Fort Vale range of lined valves for corrosive cargoes
New lined 3" 45° Footvalve
Fort Vale are poised to launch a complete range of Halar® lined components designed for the safe transportation of corrosive cargoes in container tanks.
Lined manways and relief valves have been available for some time and now Fort Vale are launching their brand new 3” 45° Halar® Lined Bottom Discharge Assembly comprising 3” 45° internal footvalve with conventional spring mechanism, (part no. 82L/1000). The closure plate incorporates a fully enclosed lifting finger, ensuring that no valve metallic surfaces come into contact with product. The new footvalve has an overall length of approx. 20mm longer than that of a normal 45° Highlift footvalve. The secondary closure 3” Halar® Lined Butterfly valve, part no. 368/L700 may be terminated with a lined threaded spigot and polycarbonate cap with full PTFE seal or with a lined bobbin flange.
