| 3" 90° Tankstream Footvalve | |
| Fort Vale is launching a new and improved version of its well-known 3” 90° “Parkfield” internal footvalve currently used on road tankers. The new 3” TANKSTREAM valve offers several technical and commercial advantages to the road tanker operator – not least of which is the valve’s lower unit cost. This has been achieved through methods of manufacture, controlled in-house by Fort Vale, and the commonality of most internal parts, enabling cost-savings in quantity manufacture. |

| TANKSTREAM Design & Operational Features and Advantages: • Increased flow rate of product when compared with the existing “Parkfield” valve equivalent. • New “open-cage” design – a cast construction rendering this part stronger and more robust in operation and less likely to get damaged in transit. • May be supplied with Hastelloy seal face or replaceable seat kit for increased protection against crevice corrosion, greater product compatibility and valve longevity. • Cam pickup design feature ensures that the lifting finger stays central to the poppet and re-locates with 100% accuracy when the seal or spring has been replaced – saving time during m & r. • Cast body construction ensures clean internal lines, reducing potential product trap. • 12 hole pcd inlet for 6 hole bolting – offers the facility to change the orientation of the valve to suit customer requirements. Blanking plugs supplied for unused holes. • Fortyt seal fitted for maximum cargo compatibility and resilience. • Standard spares parts and consumables available worldwide. Additional Safety Features : • Left hand operated pull-to-open design ensures valve closure poppet remains sealed in the event of accidental impact. • May be supplied with Patent Pending fusible crank for automatic valve closure in the event of fire engulfment. The TANKSTREAM design will soon be launched as a 45° version for Container Tanks and the range will include a 3” reducing to 2” version specifically for Offshore Tanks. |
